Shaggy

It was time to finally take Emma and Andrew to the beauty salon. Ok, Locks & Lollipops is the true name of the salon. Emma found that name to be perfect and she only authorized those "people" to cut her hair. Fine I said.. and did I not pay $50 by the time we were done?? More than what my hair cut costs.

So Andrew was sitting in the chair as they drape the zebra cover over him and the stylist says "how would you like it cut"? Oh god.. how the heck do I know? So the smartest answer I could come up with was "I just dont want him to look shaggy anymore". At this point Emma stands up in her loud indoor voice and said "Oh my god mom, he is not shaggy from Scooby Doo"!! I started to laugh which she did not aprove of and she placed her hands on her hips, gave me some type of a Look and then said "oh god Mom". I embarased her!! haha.. I actually made her mad at me. Now I know my mother is reading this and she too is laughing stating "it will all come back to you". Supposedly (it has never been proven!) I used to give "looks" as well and was constantly embarased by things. Karma has a funny way doesnt it??

So back to our weekend. We went to Sam's house on Saturday night and we both had a great time with the kids. Its good for Sam to be around us to see what "family" life entails. So we all go to bed and I get this nudge, it's Sam stating "get up, Emma is sick". We go into her room were the poor thing managed to throw up all over the place. Lovely.. So Sam cleaned up the throw up while I placed her in the tub. Um.. no more need for a crash course in family life for Sam. He was in shock by the morning and looked like he had walk for hours in Iraq. Nope.. just a night in the life of a toddler.

My story on CNN has been moving along. Finding my story being posted on other peoples blog, etc. Very interesting. Also AOL now has my story on their finance section. There is a collage for 6 pictures and Im one of them. Still getting a lot of emails as well. Despite all of that everything else is still the same. No bids on the house and a housing market that turned to crap.
