CNN Money

Besides dealing with Cole, most of my life I do try to remain private. However since Cole has passed we have been hit with many obstacles. First we had to file bankruptcy due to the amount of medical bills that piled up for 2 years. Finally we were debt free and I was able to save enough money to buy our house. Sadly things didnt turn out the way I had hoped.

CNN had recently started a new series in regards to America in their own words. I sent them my story and I was fortunate to have been chosen. http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2008/news/0803/gallery.real_stories/3.html

Since the story was published yesterday I have received quite a few emails. I contacted CNN asking where my email was posted on the story because I never noticed it on there. It's not, she told me people are searching my name now and contacting CNN so they can write me. Not sure how I feel about that, but if my story helps someone else feel not so alone than so be it.

I also received an email yesterday from CNN asking my permission to allow them to publish my story on AOL this weekend as their featured story.

Guess we will see where this ends up....
