Free Tibet!

Or at least that's what they were chanting here yesterday! I work in the financial district in SF, literally feet away from Justin Herman Plaza at the Embarcadero Center where the hub was for the Olympic Torch, etc.

It started the moment I arrived on the Ferry in SF. Already barracades were in place, a ton of police and quadruple the amount of protestesters. Flags flying for Tibet and of course the Chinese flag for those in favor. Finally i get into our building and go to the 21st floor. Through the windows, we could still here everything.

So at lunch I went to see what was going on. I tried to take a picture but it wasnt so great. But to get a glimpse, this is a tiny section of what it looked like. And to completely upset all the thousands of people who had been waiting for hours to see the torch... Mayor Gavin changed the Course! Not so cheery people.. let me tell you!

Kids are doing really well and seem so happy. They get a ton of attention which they so deserve which I feel helps them thrive and grow. Emma is also telling me funny things like, her friend Lucy at preschool is her "Friend Forever". She also likes to give presents to people. Mainly anything she finds at the house she will give you. She also enjoys magic tricks with Pennies that Sam taught her. Andrew is the happiest little boy. Loves to play with his sister even if its dressing a pony. However he seems to be drawn to his tonka truck that Aunt Jeanette bought him for his birthday. He loads up the truck with whatever he can find, and then off he goes! Truck makes a clicking sound and I think louder the better for him. He still is a bit of a momma's boy.. and I probably give him even extra TLC for that... cant help myself!

My weight watchers is going well. Lost 30.2 lbs this year and 14 to go till I hit the number/size Im looking for. It is such a slow process... but moving along nonetheless.

Hope you all are well! Brandy
