Being Green = recycled gum

Yes, you read that right. It's all about being Green in Andrew's world. Andrew constantly thinks about our planet, and for that, I am so proud of my 1 year old. Then again, there are times when I question his choices. For instance, yesterday at the park Andrew was off playing and having a good time. He soon toddles back to find that he has something "pink" in his mouth. After the horror I quickly shoved my fingers into his mouth to find a used piece of pink gum he found in the park!!! Oh god.. just typing this makes me feel ill. Nonetheless Emma shouts out.. he's recycling Mom, he is being Green!! Oh yes, my 1 year old is following in the footsteps of Al Gore and the Green Campaign. Who wouldnt be proud! :)

Miss Emma has been quite funny herself. She isnt too much on this Green trip, rather she is into her pink ponies and her friends. She comes home and gives me the full recap of how she felt about her friends that day. For instance, lets take her friend Lucy. Some days Emma comes home and says "Lucy and I are friends (then a pause..) and we are friends FOREVER" Her voice changes when she says forever... whoah..ok. Then a few days later and she says "We are no longer friends, she stole my crayon". Oh god.. the girl drama has started. She also enjoys having a say on what clothing she wears. The more girlie.. the better!

Needless to say between my Green child, Friends Forever child and my bikini mission... Im tired!

Want to wish a Big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin Hava!! Her first one as a Momma as well.

Ha ha... totally laughing about Andrew! I was exactly like Emma... I have these "journals" I wrote for school in 2nd grade and on every page I have a different best friend!
