Our trip was wonderful! Romantic and idealyic for any christmas. Weather was cold and brisk.. but nothing less than what I had expected. Thankfully there was no rain. So the days were manageable.
Children played with Sam's nephews and enjoyed every single moment. There was much laughter in the house while the adults enjoyed endless bottles of champagne and wine to celebrate the holidays. I tried to put a number on how many bottles, but my guess is at least 30 or so. It was fun.. I am happy.
No we are not engaged.. Im getting that question. But happy and in love. Did I mention very happy? My relationship with Sam has been so incredibly wonderful... it will be two years next april and I still get excited knowing he is coming home.
Kids loved england! We visited Hampton Court (Henry VIII/ Anne Boleyn) and Warwick Castle. They played in the castles and ran through the gardens. Emma was confused at times and kept asking where the Queen was and if she was going to visit us. At Warwick they had this fantastic playground and the Queen was history. It was all about the Zip Line and she didnt care about anything else.
So now we are home and adjusting back to our time zone. Thankfully that means early bed times which have been quite beneficial for me. I need my beauty rest. :)
