Johnny Law

First of all I must say I do not condone or promote the following story.. but it made me laugh.

Yesterday I took the kids to Safeway to buy some diapers. Emma was very eager to push the cart while Andrew tried to climb out at the same time. We truly looked like a circus act going down the isle.

So we finally reach the teller and all of a sudden Emma is perfect little angel. She just stood there, not moving and kept by my leg. Hmmm.. the moment Emma is minding me I realize things are not right. So I pay for the diapers, wrangling with Drew and Emma still by my side. Now Im puzzled, why is she being so good? We reach the car and I open her door to allow her to get inside, meanwhile I place Andrew in his seat.

It wasnt till we were in the car when I smelled it.. it was chocolate. I look in the rear view mirror as I see Emma opening the perfect bag of M&Ms that she took while we were at the store. She actually took a large bag, rolled it tight in her hands and somehow placed it under her shirt with her hands cupped over it.

Now I realize this is not right and for that I explained to Emma how it was wrong, etc. I then told her that "Johnny Law" (police man) would not be happy and she would get in trouble.. So her reply??? "Ohhh, Johnny Law is so cute in his uniform". Enough said....
